Abstract

This research is based on the many songs that are difficult to understand its meaning. A song is a series of tones combined with harmonious rhythms and complemented by poems that form a beautiful harmonisation. The song conveys its messages through lyrics that tell about a journey or or a picture of one's life therefore the song is often used as a medium to express feelings towards others. The purpose of this study was to analyze the meaning of Banda Neira's song "The Broken Growing, the Lost Changed" using a semiotic approach. The method used in this paper is qualitative descriptive that exposes writing based on the content of literary works, while the writing technique is a library study. The results showed that the lyrics of the song popularized by Banda Neira are a motivational message for someone who falls in a complicated situation because whatever happens time will go on and everything will pass. This song is very inspiring and suitable for listeners to stay uplifted despite the difficult circumstance.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the intrinsic elements and moral values contained in the novel "Rentang Stories" published in 2017. This novel is the first work of a YouTube content creator, blogger, book writer, social media influencer, and Indonesian feminist named Gita Savitri Devi. . This research is motivated because the discussion in the novel has the meaning of life that is able to motivate and inspire the reader. Research on the intrinsic elements and moral values of the novel has not been studied before so that researchers have the opportunity to analyze the novel in detail. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the novel "Rentang Stories" by Gita Savitri Devi has intrinsic elements, including: themes, namely a series of life journeys that will mature humans, the main character has a very strong character, uses back and forth or mixed plots, uses a person's point of view First, it has a setting of place, time, and atmosphere. The message or mandate conveyed in the novel "Rentang Stories" is the achievement of the journey of life not only about success in achieving desires and wealth, but also the way humans are able to enjoy and be grateful for God's gifts. The moral values contained include: respecting parents, studying hard, understanding women's obligations, khusnudzon to God, and compassion for fellow human beings.Keywords: Analysis of Intrinsic Elements, Moral Values, Novels “Rentang Kisah” of Gita Savitri Devi AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan unsur intrinsik dan nilai moral yang terkandung dalam novel “Rentang Kisah” yang diterbitkan pada 2017. Novel tersebut merupakan karya pertama dari seorang kreator konten youtube, blogger, penulis buku, pemengaruh media sosial, dan feminis Indonesia yang bernama Gita Savitri Devi. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena pembahasan dalam novel memiliki makna kehidupan yang mampu memotivasi dan menginspirasi pembaca. Penelitian terhadap unsur intrinsik dan nilai moral terhadap novel tersebut belum banyak diteliti sebelumnya sehingga peneliti berkesempatan menganalisis novel secara mendetail. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa novel “Rentang Kisah” karya Gita Savitri Devi memiliki unsur intrinsik, antara lain: tema, yaitu serangkaian perjalanan hidup yang akan mendewasakan manusia, tokoh utama memiliki karakter sangat kuat, menggunakan alur maju mundur atau campuran, menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama, memiliki latar tempat, waktu, dan suasana. Pesan atau amanat yang disampaikan dalam novel “Rentang Kisah” adalah pencapaian dari perjalanan hidup tidak hanya tentang sukses mencapai keinginan dan kekayaan saja, melainkan cara manusia mampu menikmati dan mensyukuri pemberian tuhan. Adapun nilai moral yang terkandung diantaranya: menghormati orang tua, giat belajar, paham kewajiban perempuan, khusnudzon pada Tuhan, dan kasih sayang kepada sesama manusia.Kata Kunci: Analisis Unsur Intrinsik, Nilai Moral, Novel “Rentang Kisah” Karya Gita Savitri Devi

Abstract

Poetry is a literary work whose language is bound by rhyme and is a person's ideas and feelings about something that are poured into beautiful words.  Language style is one of the media in stylistic studies that can be used as a medium in assessing the beauty of fictional poetry and prose works.  The background of this research is to analyze the language style (figure of speech) used in Ali Hasjmi's sorry poetry, as well as to assist in the development of Indonesian language learning in analyzing the language style of the poetry.  The method used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive method.  The data analysis was carried out through several stages including literature study by reading, writing the required content, and identifying the verse and lines of poetry that contained language styles.  The results found in Ali Hasjmi's regretful poetry include three styles of language including affirmation, satire and comparison.  The figures used are personification, metaphoric, hyperbole, sinekdoke, rhetorical, and irony.  In regret poetry there are four stanzas and fifteen lines.

Abstract

This study aims, 1) how the scenario and implementation of learning to write short story texts using the inquiry method assisted by image media in class XI IPA SMA Plus Tauhidul Afkar, 2) how teachers and students respond to learning to write short story texts using assisted inquiry method image media? 3) What are the difficulties experienced by class XI students of SMA Plus Tauhidul Afkar in completing short story writing tasks? Researchers for their awareness use descriptive methods. The data collection techniques are observation, documentary, interview, test, and questionnaire. Data collection was carried out by researchers, namely observation guideline sheets, recording devices, interview guideline sheets, test sheets, student activity observation sheets, and questionnaire sheets. Based on the results of data analysis on the implementation, it can be concluded that the planning and implementation of inquiry learning in writing short stories in class XI IPA for SMA Plus Tauhidul Afkar students are synchronized with the 2013 curriculum. The results obtained by students on learning to write short stories using the inquiry method are successful and can increase creativity.

Abstract

 This research is motivated by an increase in student learning outcomes towards the selection of learning models that are attractive and in accordance with student characteristics, and can measure the effectiveness of learning models, and student responses regarding the application of learning models. Especially in learning to write which is still difficult to master, and it requires continuous practice. The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes by applying the think talk write model in learning to write fantasy stories, and student responses to the application of the thik talk write model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with research techniques tests, observation, and interviews. The sample of this research is students of class VII-A MTS Darul Ma'arif, as many as 25 students. The results of student acquisition, from the pretest results with the highest score of 77, the lowest score of 40, the average pretest score of 62.56. Ten out of twenty-five students scored> 75 above the KKM score. While the postest score of the highest score is 95, the lowest score is 65 and the average postest score is 83.48. Twenty-two out of twenty-five students scored> 75 above the KKM score determined by the school. It can be concluded from the results of the posttest scores obtained an increase in student learning outcomes, on learning to write fantasy stories after using the think talk write model, with an average postest score of 83.48 which is superior. So the application of the think talk write model is declared effective and successful, and gets good responses from students.
